Mervyn is currently the firm’s senior partner, and has been a partner with Wheelers since 1986, when he merged his sole trader practice into the Wheelers fold.
Mervyn's main expertise is assisting owner managed businesses with all aspects of accounting, tax and business development. He provides advice and support to a wide range of businesses and personal clients. Mervyn also has considerable expertise in advising clients in the agricultural and horticultural industries.
Andrew Cave MA (Oxon) FCA

Andrew became a partner with Wheelers in 1991, joining them when the firm acquired the Coopers & Lybrand office in King’s Lynn. He joined Coopers & Lybrand after graduating from St Edmund Hall, Oxford, becoming a partner with the firm, including a spell as partner in charge of the Dubai office.
Andrew specialises in audit, charities and solicitors rules and has been instrumental in helping some of the area's important owner-managed businesses to grow and prosper. He also specialises in corporate management finance, including assisting with management buy-outs and the negotiations and due diligence involved in business sales and acquisitions.

Robert joined the practice in 1996 gaining his tax and accountancy qualifications with the firm. He became a partner in 2003.
Robert’s clients include some of the larger businesses in the Wisbech area, and he brings a high level of knowledge and expertise to their management teams. He strongly believes that a close partnership between management and adviser is key to the growth of a business. He is a tax specialist, and has extensive expertise in the issues affecting owner managed businesses.

Helen joined Wheelers during her university days when she worked part-time in the accounts department. After graduation, she joined full-time as a trainee chartered accountant, qualifying in 2003. She was appointed as a partner of the firm in 2006.
Helen's expertise lies with assisting business start ups and enabling new companies to grow. Her forte is the analysis of a business's performance through their management accounts, spotting trends and helping the business leaders to develop strategies to maximise profits.
She is also the person that you would need to contact regarding computerised accounts packages and our bespoke payroll service. Our payroll service is tailored to your needs and has the benefit of being processed by a professional firm which understands PAYE, NIC and statutory payments.

Mary Plant FCCA CTA

Mary joined the firm in December 1990 following the acquisition of the Kings Lynn office of Coopers & Lybrand and became a tax manager in the practice. She became a Wheelers partner in 1994, but took the decision in early 2008 to step back from management of the business to concentrate on providing specialised tax advice as a consultant.
Tax is Mary’s forte, although her expertise extends to all aspects of advice for her clients. She advises both businesses and individuals on tax planning issues, including inheritance tax planning, succession planning, and business tax planning.
